Who We Are
We are a charity committed to advancing the right to education for all, regardless of geography, income, or circumstance. With a focus on students in Africa pursuing post-secondary education, we work to break down the barriers that prevent talented young people from reaching their full potential.
Our approach is rooted in equity, dignity, and lasting impact. By investing in individuals, we help unlock opportunities not only for students, but for their families, communities, and generations to come. We believe education is not just a personal achievement, it's a catalyst for systemic change.
What We Do
We support ambitious students across Africa in their pursuit of post-secondary education by removing the financial and logistical barriers that stand in their way. From tuition and textbooks to hostel fees and living costs, we ensure that determined individuals have what they need to access higher learning and succeed.
For many students, universities and colleges are located hundreds of kilometers from their home, a journey that often requires relocating, securing safe accommodation, and affording transportation and essentials. Without support, this dream remains out of reach. We step in to bridge that gap, because where you live should never determine how far you can go.

School systems in the countries we serve are each unique. Kusomesa is committed to meeting the specific program requirements of every student we support - ensuring they can access, attend, and thrive in their educational journey.

Making Contributions Count!
Kusomesa partners with local international partners to locate ambitious and driven individuals who are applying to post-secondary education. Kusomesa has a diligent protocol for accepting Applicants to our program. Upon acceptance into Kusomesa, and upon receipt of their acceptance to the program of their dreams, Kusomesa directly pays for their tuition and other expenses to make that dream a reality.

Kusomesa tracks the progress of all students registered. Frequent check-ins and updates are provided throughout each semester. Donors have the option to sign up for our bi-annual newsletter which will pass along those updates to our donors.
